The learning process in the original game was simpler. You needed to fight a specific enemy, one with an Enemy Skill that you could learn, and witness the move. The character with Enemy Skill Materia equipped then learned the ability. In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, it has changed somewhat. You now need to use the Assess ability, from the Assess Materia, on specific creatures. They are different creatures in each zone but the process is the same.

This is a good news, bad news scenario. On the positive side, you do not need Enemy Skill Materia equipped to learn enemy skills in the field. You can use other Materia and then just use Assess to target enemies. In any region, head to Chadley and speak with him then check the Combat Simulator. There will be a challenge with an Enemy Skill reward. You need to Assess all of the wildlife in that region, among other goals.

Is The All Materia In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Yes, however it has changed name and function since the original Final Fantasy 7. The All Materia is now called Magnify, and it increases the range of linked Materia – whereas the original made it effect all targets. It also weakens the ability but as you level up the Magnify Materia, that weakness lessens.

How Do You Get Summon Materia In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Summon Materia in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is acquired through Chadley. When you reach a new region and you investigate some towers and interact with Lifesprings, Chadley will inform you that there is a Combat Simulator challenge available for the Summon exclusive to that region. You can find shrines dedicated to each summon that, once complete, reduce the strength and power of the Combat Simulator challenge, making it easier to complete.
