Where To Find Quetzalcoatl In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

The Quetzalcoatl is an iconic creature from the FF franchise and it makes its legendary return in FF7 Rebirth. In this guide on Where To Find Quetzalcoatl In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth we’ll tell you how you can track down this beast, so you can defeat it for the Quetzalcoatl Talon, which is a Transmutation item required to repair the windmill.

At the point we discovered the location of the Quetzalcoatl, it was a clue given by Chadley after completing Intel objectives. We’re unsure if the Quetzalcoatl is always at this location or whether you need to complete certain Intel challenges in order to make it spawn. We got the clue from Chadley after grabbing the 5th Expedition Intel, but we had also completed most of the other Intel on the Grasslands by this point.

If you reach this location and the Quetzalcoatl does not appear, you will need to continue completing other objectives for Chadley in the Grasslands. Gathering all the intel you can. It’s time-consuming but not difficult. Simply track down the towers and activate each one. This will reveal nearby intel locations and objectives. Track each of them down and eventually Chadley will call you about the location of the Quetzalcoatl.

At this point, it’s guaranteed to appear, so head to the location marked above and take it down. You need the Quetzalcoatl Talon to use in the Windmill Gear Transmute recipe to repair the old Junon windmill. Defeating Quetzalcoatl also unlocks the opportunity to learn a new Enemy Skill.
