I ultimately think SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is going to be a turbulent release. As a fan of turn-based combat, I loved every minute. Exploring the world, finding new and powerful allies to add to my armies, discovering new Necromancer recipes to summon deadly hordes of the undead, fighting off the constant attacks from The Circle – it’s a game I will return to time and time again. Players will take control of the customizable Hunter as they team up with The Avengers, X-Men, Runaways, and other Marvel legends. This title is unique, in that is combines the rich story and progression of an RPG with the tactical strategy and combat mechanics of card-based tactical titles. The end result? A title that is truly spectacular.

Sea of Stars

While Sabotage Studio’s Sea of Stars has been deemed a retro-styled RPG, this adventure can best be described as a love letter to the genre.

As players follow the story of Valere and Zale, they’ll be able to use the power of the sun and moon through a rich turn-based combat system that emphasizes deep strategy. To add to its authenticity, Yasunori Mitsuda lent his talents to the soundtrack – he worked on a little-known title called Chrono Trigger.

Starfield

An adventure years in the making, the far reaches of the galaxy await with the release of Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield.

Players will be able to explore the Settled Systems as they scan planets, install laboratories at outposts, commandeer spaceships with its modular ship customization system, and do countless other things. Much like the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls titles, players will be able to truly get lost in the far reaches of space.

Simply put, Starfield is Bethesda’s greatest-ever RPG. The living, breathing universe they have created is one of the most impressive in the gaming space and the sound effects and musical score push the immersion to near perfection. A new spy-thriller adventure, CD PROJEKT RED worked overtime to make sure Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty fulfilled everyone’s neon-drenched dreams.

Set in Dogtown, players will be able to immerse themselves in a new story where players will have countless secrets and opportunities to explore. Of course, players will have the tools they need; one can create their own playstyle with a new skill tree and countless pieces of new tech, cyberware, vehicles, and weapons.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a tale of redemption in its purest form. No rubbish, no corpo spin, dedication, passion, and determination to deliver on promises made long ago. The team at CD Projekt Red may have taken a rough road to get here, but now they can rest easy.
