Unicorn Overlord Josef’s Guide to Training! Trailer Released

Former-Holy Knight Josef talks about the different ways players can strengthen their units in the latest trailer for Atlus West and Vanillaware’s Unicorn Overlord.

In an attempt to challenge the power of the Zenoiran Empire, players will have to get a firm grasp on the training system of Unicorn Overlord.

To bolster the strength of one’s troops in this tactical RPG, players will need to make use of each character’s class. Some specialize in melee combat, while others can snipe enemies from the back row; each has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Meanwhile, strengthening the character classes in Unicorn Overlord can be done via Promotions. Promotions in Unicorn Overlord can be given by spending Honors, which can be obtained by completing quests. These then grant classes new skills.

Finally, Unicorn Overlord will feature Auxiliary Stages via the Sigils of the Ancients. In these stages, players will fight phantom soldiers to earn additional experience.
