The Outer Worlds Peril On Gorgon Choices And Consequences Guide
Peril On Gorgon is the newest DLC for The Outer Worlds and it comes with choices. Check out this The Outer Worlds Peril On Gorgon Choices and Consequences guide to see what happens for most of the choices. This way you can make the right call on key choices.

The Outer Worlds Peril On Gorgon Choices And Consequences Guide

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] [accordion initial=’1′] [accordion_item title=’Trixie Or Freddie Salvage Choice’] In the bar you will run into two people who are arguing over salvage rights. You listen to them and get to choose who the rights belong to.

Trixie claims
Trixie will be thankful and you will get get paid 2000 bits and get some beer. Freddie says that you will pay for this, he just doesn’t know when.

Freddie claims
Freddie will be thankful and you will be paid 2000 bits and get some free beer. Trixie will be upset, but she can’t do much about it right now.

Neither claims
You still get paid, but neither of them are happy about this. I tried to find the spot myself and claim it, but no luck.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Clarence Mostly Choice’] You need help from Clarence to gain access to the locked down building on Gorgon. When you talk to him he will say he doesn’t trust you and you will get some choices.

Just doing my job
He will ask you why you are going through all the trouble for a journal. He will then ask you to steal the gold statue down below for him. If you do, he will help you.

Trying to uncover the truth
He will say that’s fine, but you need to do a favor for him first. He wants that gold statue you might have seen down below. Get it for him and he will help you out.

Intimidate 40
You will get a little bit of EXP and he will ask you for a favor.

You can’t walk away from that
A favor for a favor, get that gold statue for him, and he will help you.

You can also give him his eye back if you want. He says he will put a good mark down for you, but so far it hasn’t done anything.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Coach Stilley Choice’] When you interact with Coach Stilley, you can attack him, or persuade/intimidate him if you have 95 in either skill.

Persuade 95
He will say as long as you are reasonable, he will talk with you. You can ask him who put the hit on you, but he says I couldn’t tell you even if I wanted to. You will need to bribe him with 3700 never to see him again, or use 95 Lie/intimidate him. You can also just kill him if you’ve had enough of him.

Lie 95
If you lie to him, he will be happy to give up the contract on you. With 95 intimidate you can even give some money out of the deal. He will then say you two will never see each other again. If he pops up later, I will update this.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’PAM Choice’] Pam mostly just gives you info about the area she is in. You can choose to activate her emergency combat protocols as well.

Activate Emergency Combat Protocol
She will run towards enemies and kill them. I thought she might turn on you, but she is an ally and a strong one at that. She doesn’t leave the building with you, but she willmake your time inside a bit easier.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Mothers Journal Choice’] When you get the Journal Back, you will be contacted by Wilhelmina and you have a few choices.

Persuade 20
You are cut off and the transmission is hijacked.

Got my payment ready?
You are cut off and the transmission is hijacked.

Gorgon was bigger then you lead me to believe
You are cut off and the transmission is hijacked.

Why are you interested in old terminals all of a sudden
She says what terminal? And then you are cut off by someone jacking the frequency.

All the choices lead to the same outcome. You need to pick a side, restore Adrena-Time production on Gorgon, or destroy the Adrena-time synthesizer.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’The Ambrose Intersection Choice’] This is the big one. Side with mommy, or side with Minnie.

Restore power to the synthesizer
On your way down to the Synthesizer, you will run into Olivia. She will do whatever she can to stop you. I have tried most all of the convo choices and none of them worked. At the end of all of them I could only kill her. You do get a cool little but scene if you shove her into the reactor though. You will get paid 5000 bits when you return to Minnie.

Activate NDA protocol
If you choose to do this, you will have to take out Minnie. This will cause the Adrena-time to stop being produced on Gorgon and Olivia will pay you 5000 bits.

[/accordion_item] [/accordion]

Peril On Gordon is now available to purchase and download on all platforms. This guide on Where To Start Peril On Gorgon DLC In The Outer Worlds will explain the process you must follow in order to begin your adventure through the DLC as the game doesn’t really give you any pointers.

The staggered release of Peril On Gorgon left many players confused so before trying to find out where to star the DLC, ensure you have purchased the DLC and it is installed. On the main menu of the game, before you select a game to load, you will notice a small icon in the lower right. This indicates that you have Peril on Gorgon installed, so you should be able to follow this guide to get you started.

When you are in-game you need to return to your ship, The Unreliable. There’s usually a Fast Travel point on your map, if you’re already on a planet or at another location. Once you are back on board your ship head to the terminal so that you can navigate a new location.

Select anywhere to travel, the destination does not appear to matter. After you arrive at the destination there will be a brief conversation between yourself and a delivery guy that is delivering a package to your ship. Accept the package. After the conversation, a HPS box will be placed aboard your ship along with the a new quest, “The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon”. Select that quest as your active quest to find the box on your ship, if you struggle to find it.

Now simply follow this quest line to arrive on Gorgon and begin the DLC.

Outer Worlds - The Frightened Engineer Guide
Thomas asks you to find three Guide To Mechanical Engineering books in this side quest. This Outer Worlds – The Frightened Engineer Guide will tell you where to find each of the books, and how you can discover the clues to the whereabouts of each of the books locations.

This quest is from Thomas, who is at the Botanical Gardens next to the vending machine. Depending on your other actions so far, when you first obtain the quest, you may have 1 or 2 objective markers on the map, but there’s three books.

Guide To Mechanical Engineering Location #1

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] The first book can be found in the Emerald Vale Community Center. It’s the one already marked on your map so head over there, follow the objective marker, and grab the book.

Guide To Mechanical Engineering Location #2

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] Where To Find The Third Book
For the second book, head into Edgewater. You want to visit Parvati’s house at this location. Go upstairs, into her old fathers room. Check the computer terminal inside. It tells you that the second book is sitting inside the Cannery in an unused office. It’s upstairs in the Cannery, near the foreman. You can also get this clue by speaking with Parvati.

Guide To Mechanical Engineering Location #3

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] Frightened Engineer
You will find the final book inside the Geothermal Plant. Follow the path through the plant until you hear Higgins screaming in the silo section. Drop to the lowest level, you’ll find the book resting against a nearby wall.

And that’s where to find all of the Guide To Mechanical Engineering books. Make sure to check out our full side quest guide for tips on other quests!

A huge choice, do you redirect power to Edgewater or the Botanical Laboratory? This guide covers the choice of Redirect Power To Edgewater Or Botanical In The Outer Worlds, telling you the outcomes of each potential choice and the consequences of your actions.

Whether you choose Edgewater or the Botanical Laboratory, is ultimately down to you. There’s no right or wrong choice here. Be sure to check out our Outer Worlds choices and consequences guide for future choices throughout the game.

If You Choose Redirect Power To Edgewater

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] If you choose to redirect the power to Edgewater, you will obviously upset the Deserters. Once you have chosen, you will need to return Botanical Laboratory and speak with Adelaide. She tells you that unless you deal with Reed, she will not return to Edgewater. That’s a choice covered further into this article.

You must then convince the other members of her group to return. Speak with Thomas, tell him he can start a fresh as an engineer. It’s a good idea to tell him to wait before going to Edgewater, so you can deal with Reed first. Likewise with Grace. You can kill Adelaide here but there’s really not much reason to, you lose a lot of reputation with the Deserters if you do. If you bring all of the workers back to Edgewater, you get Spacer’s Choice reputation.

If You Choose Redirect Power Botanical Laboratory

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] Choosing the option to redirect power to the Botanical Lab results in a quick return to Reed. He will be angry at your decision. He threatens you and tells you to leave. With 30 Intimidation you can talk your way out of a fight. However, if you decide to fight you can kill Reed and get his Keycard which opens a room for some decent loot. Either option here loses Spacer’s Choice reputation, and killing him automatically fails all remaining quests in Edgewater.

Dealing With Reed

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’]

Convince Reed To Leave
Speak with Reed after directing power to Edgewater. Follow these choices to make him leave:

[list style=’regular’] [list_item]Tell him Adelaide won’t return while he is there[/list_item] [list_item]A change of Leadership[/list_item] [list_item]Adelaide’s people are not getting sick with the plague[/list_item] [list_item]Have you ever eaten a vegetable[/list_item] [list_item]You need Adelaides garden.[/list_item] [list_item][Persuade 10] Adelaide’s found a way to grow food[/list_item] [list_item]She’s been using human corpses in her fertilizer[/list_item] [list_item]I’m not in the mood to argue[/list_item] [/list]

Kill Reed
If you decide to kill Reed, Parvati will leave unless you convince her to stay. You still get Reed’s Keycard and can access his room.

Hopefully that answers your question on whether to Redirect Power To Edgewater Or Botanical In The Outer Worlds.

Carving out your own corner of the universe has its advantages. This guide explains How To Get Your Own House In The Outer Worlds, so you can reserve your own private corner of space with a humble abode on one of the most dangerous planets in the system.

While it may seem similar in appearance to the likes of Fallout and Skyrim, The Outer Worlds is a different kind of game. Sure, you can kill people and take their stuff, but you never truly own the property. However, there is at least one place that you can rent permanently, for a single price.

You need to follow the main story until you reach Monarch, specifically Stellar Bay. Once the story takes you to this location, follow it through until you reach a small settlement to the South East called Fallbrook. Once you arrive in Fallbrook, speak with Catherine, the head honcho.

You can request a room. You’ll have to pay 300 Bits but once you do, it’s yours for life.

One of the Weapons From The Void objectives is locked behind a very high hack. This guide tells you Where To Find UDL Lab Weapons Keycard In Outer Worlds, as without it, you’re going to need an insanely high set of stats to break open this lock and find yourself another Science Weapon.

The Weapons From The Void side quest is one of the most lucrative quests in the game. It sends you across the galaxy in search of rare and powerful Science weapons – weapons with unique abilities not found anywhere else in-game.

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] UDL Lab Keycard
If you arrive at the lab and you don’t have the stats to break in, fear not, the key is not far. Head up the stairs, inside the lab, and check the tables. Sitting atop one of the tables, next to a broken terminal, is the keycard.

Simply pick it up, and now you can access the terminal, no problem. You need 55 Hack to open the door, easy enough with the right party members. Or you can answer a series of questions.

Answer 1: Protect The Chairman
Answer 2: Berate Him
Answer 3: Arrest your Spouse

The Outer Worlds Companion Side Quest Guide
Companions are great aids in combat and can boost your skills. This The Outer Worlds Companion Side Quest Guide covers the unique Companion side quests that you discover as you explore vast and exciting new planets in The Outer Worlds.

Companion quests are somewhat a mixed bag. Some Companion quests will unlock new Companions, others are for Companions you already have. The latter is usually used to increase your relationship with a particular Companion, learning more of their history and backstory.

[accordion initial=’1′]

The Outer Worlds Companion Side Quest Guide

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] [accordion_item title=’Vicar Max – The Illustrated Manual (Edgewater)’] You can find this quest in the church looking building in Edgewater. Talk to the man behind the table named Vicar and he will ask you to help him find a book. Make it your main quest and follow the marker. You will have to fight some Marauders in the area and then enter a building to find the item. This will lead you to a cave with the actual journal inside. Watch out for the mines inside. Open the safe and return the book to Vicar. He will join your crew and wait for you on the ship.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Parvati – Drinking Sapphire Wine (The Unreliable)’] When you first dock at the Groundbreaker, speak with Parvati at the exit to get this quest. Follow the objective to speak with Junlei. From there it’s just following objectives to the end.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Vicar Max – The Empty Man (Groundbreaker)’] When exploring the Groundbreaker, Vicar Max will ask to talk with you. Talk with him and agree to help find the Translator. Follow the objectives to grab the disguise, then eject the cartridge from the computer. Then go to Fallbrook on Monarch and visit Reginald’s house. Then track down the guy in the river. Then it’s off to Scylla.

Help Max through the vision. It’s a good idea to save first as there are some choices. I chose to encourage the visions, not attack, Max seemed happy at the end.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Ellie – Worst Contact (Groundbreaker)’] Speak with Ellie in the Sickbay on Groundbreaker to get this quest. At the back of Sickbay is a Restricted Area. There’s an item on the table next to the entrance. Pick it up, it allows you to disguise yourself when you enter the restricted area. Go inside and speak with Jessie. You can Intimidate her to open the door very easily. You can Persuade Bedford to avoid paying the fine, which gives you increase Reputation with The Board, but Parvati & Jessie will be unhappy. You can bribe him for 2044 Bits. When you return, Jessie and Ellie are happy, and Ellie joins your crew.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’SAM- The Cleaning Machine (The Unreliable)’] At some point at Robot appears in one of the crew quarters on The Unreliable, it’s the first room as you climb the stairs. Interact with the robot to get this quest. Simple objectives, complete them and SAM will join you. He is a robot and the Robophobia Flaw does apply if he is in your party.[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Nyoka – Star-Crossed Troopers (Monarch)’] While exploring the Monarch Wilderness, Nyoka asks to speak with you. Speak with her to start this quest. Follow the objective to the graveyard. Once inspected, you need to speak with Hiram to find out where they went. You meet Hiram through story progress on Monarch. From there you’ll be tasked with going to Edgewater. Enter the house and check the terminal on the bed before looting the two bodies. Then you’ll be tasked with hunting Primals on Scylla.

Once you’ve got the glands, speak with Nyoka for the next phase. Head to the cave, loot the medals, place the glands, kill the queen. Job done. You can advise her to keep the medallions at the end of the quest, she seems to like this choice.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Felix – Friendships Due (The Unreliable / Scylla)’] Docking at Scylla, after completing Monarch, Felix approached me as I left the ship and gave me this quest. You can access Harlow’s Base from the System Map. After meeting with Harlow, follow the objectives. When you get to the Groundbreaker, if you have already repaired the radiators for Jenei, you can use that to get the information from Rosana.

Once on Edgewater, head to this location, there’s a path that leads to the objective.

Friendships Due

When you speak with the target, don’t attack him. You can ask him for some evidence and a new optional objective appears, then ask for his ring. This gives you all the conversation options at the end.

There are various outcomes here. You can give him the ring, ignore the evidence, the quest is complete and nobody has to die. You can kill him, or you can lie and have Felix leave to join his crew. It’s up to you. Outside of losing Felix, none of the decisions appear to have lasting impact.

[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Parvati- Dont Bite The Sun (The Unreliable)’] Upon returning to the ship, ADA asked me to speak with Parvati. I had just finished the story arc on Monarch. Head to Gladys to buy the soap, there’s a few options here. I chose the Rose-ish. At the end of the date Parvati said the soap made Junlei sneezed, but ultimately the date went well. Then you have to grab some dishes for her. Once you’ve grabbed the food, agree to find her some clothes. To progress, you must have unlocked Byzantium.

Head to Byzantium, pick up the dress, you can Persuade to have the price dropped to 3,000 Bits. Then give it to Parvati before speaking with her aboard The Unreliable. From there just follow the objectives.
[/accordion_item] [accordion_item title=’Ellie – The Low Crusade (The Unreliable / Byzantium)’] When docking at Byzantium, Ellie may approach you with this quest. Head into Byzantium and travel to Ellie’s parents’ house, speak with them there. Follow the objective markers to the next few areas, until you reach the insurance building. When you speak with the insurance broker there’s a few options, I chose to ignore them and just break in upstairs and alter the records, the skill checks were not high.

That’s all of the Companion Side Quest’s in The Outer Worlds. There is a 5th Companion, SAM, but completing this gives you the All for One achievement, so he doesn’t have any Companion quests.

How To Get To Byzantium In The Outer Worlds
Struggling to find where Byzantium is? This guide will tell you How To Get To Byzantium In The Outer Worlds, an exciting area full of opportunity, with many side quests pointing solely at the heart of Byzantium, it’s an area you don’t want to miss.

There are multiple quests that request you visit Byzantium, but none of them give you directions on how exactly to get there. It’s pretty tucked away, locked behind some dialogue choices between certain characters aboard the Groundbreaker.

Just to be clear, you can get to Byzantium naturally in the story, but if you want to get there earlier, continue on.

You must have progressed far enough into the story that you have completed most of Groundbreaker. Speak with Udom Bedford inside the Halcyon room aboard the Groundbreaker, it’s featured in the image above. When you get there, follow these dialogue choices:

[list style=’regular’] [list_item]I know where to find Phineas Wells[/list_item] [list_item]I saw Welles’ wanted poster, and I want to claim the bounty[/list_item] [list_item]What?[/list_item] [list_item]What kind of reasons?[/list_item] [list_item]Fine, you needed money, what’s next?[/list_item] [/list]

The rest of the decisions don’t matter so much. Keep speaking with him until you get the “Balance Due” main quest. From there, follow the objective markers to speak with Gladys. You pay 8,000 Bits for the Seal, return to Udom, and you get the Navkey for Byzantium.

The Outer Worlds Mods Guide
Don’t waste your Mods, maximize your stats and spend your Mods wisely. This The Outer Worlds Mods Guide explains the basics of the Mod system in the game, as well as offering deeper insight on how you can manipulate the system to get huge boosts to various stats depending on the activity.

Using a Workbench you can apply mods to weapons and to armor. Weapon mods allow you to change the Barrel, Scope and Clip, adding various bonuses from additional damage, to special damage types and improvements to accuracy. Weapon modifications are easy to understand, and fall as much under personal preference as efficiency but armor, that’s where you can really push your stats.

The Outer Worlds Mods Guide

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] You can only modify your armor, you cannot modify helmets. Armor comes in three forms, Light, Medium, and Heavy. Heavy armor offers the most protection with least stat bonuses, while Light offers the least armor value and the highest potential bonuses to stats. Medium sits in the middle.

Surviving in The Outer Worlds is not a difficult task, armor helps but it’s not vital. As such, Light armor is a fantastic choice, because it allows you to participate in so much more content, and more choices. The best Light Armor can have up to 4 modifications.

Tech Skills

This is a “Hacking” setup. As you can see there is a +7 Hack bonus on the armor, with an additional Tech Skills +5, further modifications could be added. This adds huge bonuses to areas in the tech tree.

Dialog Skills

Then you can build a different set entirely. This set leans more toward dialog, persuasion, lying, intimidation, that sort of thing. This opens up a lot of opportunities during quests and whatnot.

Furthermore, there is a Perk in the Tier 3 section that offers 100% Skill Bonuses to skill bonuses applied by armor, doubling any stats your armor has. You are limited in the amount of skill points you get in the game but you can compensate using mods in sets such as this.
