Ubisoft today announced that the third add-on content for Watch Dogs 2, titled No Compromise, is now available to download and play on the PlayStation 4 as part of the Season Pass content, with Xbox One and Windows PC launches expected on May 18th.

The new add-on content for Watch Dogs 2 introduces a bevy of new content for players to explore including the new Moscow Gambit DedSec operation – a new multi-mission campaign that stretches across a new storyline with Sitara and Marcus working together to take down a hardcore adult movie studio. Complete with awkward moments involving industry specific machinery and an “explosive climax” it’s sure to stick to the tongue in cheek humor that made the game so popular among fans.

A new racing time trial challenge has also been included with six new single-player races with with special vehicles and individual challenges.

Human Conditions will give players the opportunity to uncover three rich, story-driven DedSec operations set within the city of San Francisco. New co-op content will also be available as new Elite co-op challenges face players against a powerful new enemy type, the Jammer. Overall the Human Conditions add-on content pack is said to include more than five hours of additional content and challenges.

Ubisoft is intent to keep Watch Dogs 2 relevant daily leading to the release. New info trailer released.

Checking out the link led me to an experience unlike any other. Here I was able to upload an image to their database and what came was unexpected, kinda? Not really. This is the sort of fluff you expect from a AAA game company intent on selling you their video game. Watch Dogs 2 seems adequate enough of a sequel to gain my interest before this kind of drivel. According to David Maynor, Creative Consultant on hacker tools, techniques, and culture, “Selfies could be thought of as taking your own mug shot… these pictures can be mined for behavior and lifestyle indicators over time.” So basically, Ubisoft is really doubling down on the hacker vs the system world they have created for their upcoming game.

In the website selfie tracker program you basically upload a selfie picture of yourself to this website that then checks it against apparent online information available to anyone with a little know how. But actually it doesn’t. In reality it is nothing more than made up information to feed those starved for Watch Dogs 2 content.

Surprising absolutely nobody, Ubisoft has given a 30-Day exclusivity for its upcoming Season Pass to PS4.

Ubisoft detailed the Season Pass for their upcoming Watch Dogs 2 today. 3 DLC content packs were detailed in addition to a Psychedelic Pack and Root Access Bundle. Making this announcement all that more special was the announcement that all additional content will be available on Playstation 4 first for 30 days.

Releasing on PS4 and Xbox One November 15th and PC November 29th, Watch Dogs 2 will seek to fulfill on the promise of the original by actually making the game fun. Apparently this DLC will be needed to do that. Or whatever. Enjoy the DLC info and trailer below.

Ubisoft today released a Multiplayer, open world, free-roam gameplay video for its upcoming Watch Dogs 2. In the latest video a variety of gameplay is shown including driving mechanics, use of drones, customization options and enhanced hacking. Watch Dogs 2 features the San Francisco Bay Area and its on display here with world-famous landmarks Coit Tower and Fisherman’s Wharf making their appearance in the video. Let me tell you, as a Bay Area native that frequents “The City” often while driving my car for Uber, the world and landscape look really good. I can’t wait to see what Ubisoft Montreal have done with the rest of San Francisco.

One of the biggest problems I had in the first game was that the driving controls left much to be desired. It seems like fan feedback has been received loud and clear with driving being reworked extensively by Ubisoft Reflections. The team claims to have “significantly improved the driving to make it more responsive and accessible.” From what the video shows much of the controls are vary fine tuned and much easier to control. One thing is clear, Ubisoft is intent on delivering on the promise of the first game. And more.

New Watch Dogs 2 Trailer Indicates Co-Op Won’t Be Available For Story Missions

Here is the GamesCom trailer that you will want to watch so see what we are talking about.

At about 35 seconds they start talking about online Co-op and how it will be seamless. “Follow your way and keep playing solo, or easily form a Co-op team and explore the world together. Cruise around the bay and discover new areas. Have a ride in the back country and many other activities.” Alright let’s stop there. Many other activities? Like what? Being vague here leads me to believe there won’t be a ton to do co-op outside of exploring and taking pictures with each other.

Next they say “Through your smart phone, take on an endless series of co-op missions.” The wording here seems to imply it will be instanced missions and not anything related to the story. That doesn’t mean you won’t earn rewards for the main story but it does seem to point out you won’t be playing co-op during the main missions of the game which is a huge bummer.

For those of you who don’t recall, Ubisoft did this with Far Cry 4 as well. You were able to play Co-op in Far Cry 4 but you couldn’t do any of the story missions. You could still explore and take on forts with co-op buddies in Far Cry 4 but it wasn’t as good as it could have been.
