I find your review agreeable for the most part regarding combat and acquiring rare Blades. The learning curve is a bit steep, but over time I feel we get used to it. Players not used to the brutal rng getting rares in any other game may find that aspect deterring. Luckily the amount of cores in the world don’t seem limited otherwise it would be truly upsetting. I’m used to playing mobile games where trying to get rares are left up to rng, so I don’t find it too bad.

Being a popular series, I was a disappointed with the frame drops like you found, but since I play this game usually docked, it looks fine. I feel most people playing this would like to play it docked anyways, but it is disappointing that the frames somehow struggle when in handheld mode.

It’s nice they made the game a somewhat smaller download without the optional Japanese dub. Even if I prefer the Japanese dub, sad to hear that English dub users are in for an awkward treat.

I already bought this game’s collector edition without question along with the Switch because I’m a Xenoblade fan, so I feel like you said that I can overlook its faults because I love JRPGs and Xenoblade. The soundtrack is quite nice and if anyone got the collector’s edition, the art book is quite nice to looks at too. Thanks again for the review!
