Where To Find The Key On The Island In God Of War Ragnarok

You will have to use your axe to break the fire pot near the gold looking ore. Follow that path up to another blocked path with another fire pot and gold ore mound. Same thing and follow the path around.
Now you need to use the lever to move the elevator down. While still holding the lever, throw your axe at the gear to freeze the elevator in place.
Now jump back down the way you came but now shimmy towards the elevator. Jump up on to the elevator and call your axe back to get a ride up. From there you can break a hole in the ground and gain access to the key room. Be wary of the mini boss waiting inside.
