How To Become A Vampire
To become a vampire, there is just one way, you must get hit by a vampire to catch the disease Sanguinare Vampiris there are caves that you can go to, but you would need to look at a map for that.
If you do the dark brotherhood quests, you’ll eventually come to a part where you have to assassinate two vampires. I recommend putting on your strongest armor, and a healing spell until you get the disease. Once you’ve caught the disease, Sleep for 72 hours, and the disease will become Vampirism.
How To Cure The Disease
Make your way to Falkreath . Once there, speak to Valga Vinicia at the Dead Man’s Drink and ask about any rumors going around. She will tell you that Falion in Morthal studies Vampires. Speak to him and he will tell you that, in order to perform the ritual, a black soul gem must be filled. To get the black soul gem you need to speak to Falion again and he will offer to sell it to you. To fill it, cast a Soul Trap spell on a human target and proceed to kill them.

are their quests about vampires like morrrowind or utterly pointless like oblivion
I have found 3 quests so far that are vampire related although nothing in-depth. 1 for Dark Brotherhood, not sure where I got the other two from.

In order to stop the disease before becoming a vampire use a cure all diseases potion or RUN (or fast travel) to white run and find the preacher then heal yourself of all diseases p.s becoming vampire is not recommended all powers are levelled out with a weakness like going out in sunlight or fire damage it’s a curs not a blessing and isn’t half as good as being a ware wolf. I have heard some people have been attacked by villagers on sight. Not what you need when you need all 6 of them dragon bones and scales you have been lugging around, is it?
i want to be a vampire i had a fight with one and let him hit me a bunch of times how do i know if i caught the infection?
Been so long since I played. Check your passive effects section for the disease. It’s in the menu somewhere. Sorry I couldn’t be of more use >.<
