Day One Patch For Final Fantasy XV Will Add “Extra Features”
Final Fantasy fans got a bitter-sweet surprise today as developers Square Enix published a series of Tweets regarding an unexpected Day One patch that will introduce “extra features” for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XV. The announcement is a step back from the original plan of releasing all relevant content on the disc as Square Enix announced in August that the delay was for polishing and to ensure there would not be a large Day One patch.
Today’s Tweets however, claim that the Day One patch will indeed be featured at launch and will include new features and further enhancements that were not made until the game had already gone gold.
