Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 2 Has Begun

Today, ArenaNet and NCSoft launched “Gates of Maguuma” which is the second Living World update to Guild Wars 2. In the event you aren’t aware of what Guild Wars 2’s Living World is, it is a regular content patch that adds things such as quests, characters, events and more. These events then change the world of Guild Wars 2 permanently. What exactly does this content patch add though? Let’s find out.

The story of the “Gates of Maguuma” update sends players on a quest to find out what happened to a fallen Zephyrite airship. Watch out though, the Inquest are scattered around the area! Once you beat the story of the Gates of Maguuma, you get something called “Elite Achievements”. These achievements are designed to be much harder than normal and definitely aren’t a task for the weak! These achievements will test your skill, but offer great reward. The rewards offered include new crafting materials that give added stat bonuses. On top of this, you can also find the Adventurer’s Spectacles and Adventurer’s Scarf, which can be combined to make the Adventurer’s Mantle.
