‘The Crew’ Beta Coming Next Month
Ubisoft has officially opened beta registration for The Crew. The beta will begin on July 23rd but not everyone who signs up will participate. The official website for The Crew states “sign up for a chance to be one of the first to get behind the wheel”, so it can be assumed that signing up does not guarantee a spot in the beta. It is also important to note that the beta seems to be only available on PC.
The Crew is a massive online racing game that spans the entire US (scaled down, of course). In The Crew, players will be able to connect with friends online and form crews to tackle challenges and races scattered around a map of the US. A unique feature in The Crew is the ability to completely customize and personalize a car. Players can pick almost every individual part and design it to match exactly what they want in a car. There will be different car customization to accommodate the different terrain throughout the US.
