Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster Now Available

The team at Nightdive Studios, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, has released Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster for PC and consoles.

The first Star Wars FPS, Dark Forces has players assuming the role of defector Kyle Katarn. This mercenary for hire joins the Rebel Alliance’s covert operations division, one tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire. He’ll have to contend with the secret Dark Trooper Project, a powerful new series of Imperial battle droids and power-armored stormtroopers. Along the way, players will jump, duck, and crawl to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

Fully remastered through its proprietary KEX engine, players will be able to experience this title on modern gaming devices at up to 4K resolution at 120FPS. Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster also features upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, and support for gamepads.
