A new “Official Side-by-Side Comparison” for the upcoming Batman Arkham collection has released today. Whether or not it is any better than the PC release remains to be seen.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a new comparison video for their upcoming Return to Arkham collection. The collection will include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and all of their Game of the Year downloadable content. What isn’t clear is whether or not a major graphical overhaul was ever done. In May a comparison video was released on YouTube showing a direct comparison for the PC version and Unreal Engine 4 PS4/Xbox One version. What was clear was the PC version looked far superior.

In June the collection was delayed indefinitely with WB Staff member Steve Grayson posting on the WB Forums “After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuos Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”

It is unclear if anything was changed between June and now and no statement has been made. As to whether anything has, I took a couple quick pictures of images during the trailer below for quick comparison. You tell me.

You can Return to Arkham on PS4 and Xbox One 21 October, 2016.
