THQ & EA Go Head To Head In The Ring
THQ have filed an official complaint against Zuffa LLC, the parent company of UFC, and Electronic Arts over the changing hands of the official UFC game license. The entire debate surrounds meetings held between THQ and Electronic Arts in December of 2011 in which private information was exchanged including financial projections and marketing ideas.
At the end of the year Zuffa LLC contacted THQ in regards to terminating the license having access to information that would only be available from EA. THQ claims that this is proof that Electronic Arts went directly to Zuffa LLC to purchase the rights to the UFC games, completely cutting THQ out of the deal. For more information click here.
