World of Final Fantasy New Screenshots Released

Square Enix released 35 new screenshots today for their upcoming RPG including new heroes, environments, dungeons and monsters. Coming out on Playstation 4 and PS Vita, World of Final Fantasy is a brand-new title in the Final Fantasy franchise that combines classic RPG gameplay mechanics in a new visual chibi art style.

Making an appearance in the new game were series mainstays Kraken, Gilgamesh, Bahamut and Ultros as well as past game hero favorites Terra, and Bartz. The new monsters are called “Mirages” in this Final Fantasy with the aforementioned Bahamut taking on the title of “Mega Mirage”. In the screenshot you can see Bahamut using his powerful Megaflare to annihilate everything in sight.

New Locales were also shown including a Desert Fortress, Steepled Blue Castle, Snowy Mountainous Cliffs, Lava Dungeon and more. Check the Gallery below for all the latest screenshots. You can view the E3 Trailer here.
